I am a K-4 foreign language teacher who also has experience in middle school exploratory Spanish, high school Spanish I-III and AP Spanish Literature. It is my passion to promote cultural acceptance, tolerance, and advocacy through engaging and authentic experiences. My classroom implements the 4 aspects of language learning: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, while integrating technology and culture on a daily basis.
In addition to teaching K-4, I am also an instructor of ELA for adult learners at Kirkwood Community College.
I am currently pursuing my Masters in Foreign Language Education at the University of Iowa.
